On vacay and loving it!! Visiting with my hubby in sunny Florida. Even brought the 4-legged needy one with me. The trip, well, should have know it couldn't possibly go 100% smooth.
Thought I was done with poopy pants and dependent puke...........NOPE. As it would seem, the dog gets car sick. It was delightful...............NOT!! He's OK now, but I don't think either one of us is looking forward to the return drive...

Mother of the bride
Been eons since a post. So much water has gone under the bridge!!!
To just get right to the heart of the post......my beautiful firstborn is now a married woman! Didn't see that one coming.....or at least not like this!
.....or maybe I should have.
My precious firstborn daughter has assumed a new name. Yes...I expected it one day; no....not so casually. I guess my idea of her wedding day and her idea of her wedding day took place in two entirely different dreams. I envisioned all the pomp and circumstance that I "subjected" my mom and dad to. She envisioned something much more simple. My idea of mother of the bride included wedding dress hunt, showers, invitations....not how it went down. Elopement was more her choice...you know, it fit her personality to a tee and that's exactly what my heart wants for my precious little girl....what fits her! She is STILL my little girl, she is STILL precious, she is STILL beautiful, and she is STILL.......her.
I love you sweet daughter and wish for you and your husband many years of love, happiness, and prosperity....grow together...
